FOREST residents are being reminded to fill out electoral register forms sent out by the district council, before the deadline of Friday, November 18.
A spokesperson for the council said: “93 per cent of households have responded to the household enquiry form sent out in August, but 3,000 forms are outstanding.
“A response to the household enquiry form is required by law and must be returned by next Friday. The quickest and easiest way to complete the individual registration form is online by visiting www.gov.uk/registertovote. You will be asked to provide your national insurance number and date of birth. Alternatively you can complete and return the form in the prepaid envelope provided or call the electoral services team on 01594 812692.
“Anyone who has been newly added to the household enquiry form will have received an individual electoral registration form, which must be returned by November 21 to ensure their details are included on the revised register.”
The revised register of electors will be published on December 1.
