THE FOREST Theatre Group is calling on young men in the Forest to take part in their forthcoming production.

Peter Silsby, who is the Chairman of the Forest Musical Society and production administrator, said: "Unfortunately we have had a couple of young lads leave the cast and what with performances due to start in six weeks the pressure is on to replace them.

"We are looking for young men, roughly in the 14 to 25 age range, to play several cameo roles. At the most there is no more than two lines of dialogue, but there is some chorus singing and simple dance moves. Acting and dancing the two important skills for these parts."

Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings at Coleford Baptist Church and some Sundays at Lydney Town Hall. The dates for The Wedding Singer: The Musical Comedy are Thursday, May 16 to Saturday, May 18 at Lydney Town Hall.
