LONG may Dr Daphne Pearson continue to report to the rest of us the goings-on in the council chamber.

I for one find her letters extremely entertaining and enlightening.

Last week's effort put me in mind of Orwell's Animal Farm and confirms my belief that anyone w ho actually wants to be a local councillor should immediately be disqualified from ever becoming one!
