THE old town of Chepstow is the gateway to Wales and the Wye Valley, the old port and market town.

What has the council done to this town? No shops in the High Street. Some have been empty for two years – why?

High taxes. Cut the tax, and give us the shops back instead of estate agents and charity shops. I see another charity shop has opened in Moor Street.

Chepstow Town Council needs to wake up and look at what they are doing because we have nothing but new houses.

The sewage is still going into the River Wye by the Castle. All they think about is rates, not health.

They have also put a charge on car parks in the town, but not in Caldicot. Why? – Name and address supplied.
