I AM one of your younger readers. I am eight years old. My family and I are very interested in the environment.

I like the Co-op as they are very friendly but prices are too dear to do a big shop once a week. So my mum drives to Tesco and doesn't like using her car because of the pollution and the petrol money.

We always go to the local butchers in Cinderford called Stantones Graham (the owner) who is really good for meat and dog bones which keeps my dog happy. We would never just shop at Tesco, we would always shop at the other shops in Cinderford as well because they make our town.

I would like to see Tesco for my mum, Wetherspoons for my dad – he loves their food and because the price is great, Peacocks for my sister and Claires for me.

If we shop in all these shops Cinderford would be happy and healthy. – Katie-Rae Maudsley (8), Cinderford.
