I FEEL so honoured that God has given me the strength and interest to help and work for the Dean, because it is a unique wildlife and ancient forest, the Serengeti of the United Kingdom.

Here is the future educational and employment hub for all Foresters who have their heart in this unique area.

Last week we were shown and listened to a video of heart-breaking destruction of wildlife habitats and nationally important heritage, all behind high wire fences guarded by dogs.

No this was not Germany of the thirties, or China during the Red Guard purges, nor images of 19th century cotton plantation of the Deep South of America.

This was the Forest of Dean, England during the 21st century and all activities illegally sanctioned by our MP and district councillors, etc.

I say illegally because all such wildlife is protected by law in the rest of the UK, and yet we are given to understand that the   rarest of creatures, under European protection, can be exterminated and habitats destroyed in sub-zero degrees with government backing.

We cannot let these ruthless politicians package it in to another housing estate, simply to sell to off-set a £3.8 million funding gap.

Already from my understanding they have frittered away most of the £10 million on consultants, architects and legal costs and Cinderford has not benefited.

All these promises of £100 million investment is easy when it belongs to taxpayers and is morally wrong and disrespectful.

What will all these promise mean when the   area is flooded and submerged in to a bog?

Finally I would like to suggest to our MP that instead of resigning he returns to the fold and represents his people.
