WITH regards to the closure of the road from Blakeney to Elton. Does the road   really need resurfacing? Having travelled the road recently, I did not see any potholes or bad surfaces the only bad part is the non-skid surface in Newnham.

Also the road from Staunton to Monmouth, in my opinion, was a very good road. Personally I think it is a waste of money as there are lots of other roads in need of repair. Is it a case of the county highways having a contract with the company doing the resurfacing to supply them with work.

I know a while back I asked why they were resurfacing a certain road and was told that it in the pipeline to do it and thats why they resurfaced it and than they say they are short of funds. What do others say?
