THE people of Lydney and surrounding areas are being invited to give their thoughts on the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
The town’s Royal British Legion (RBL) has set up a book for individuals and groups to say what the anniversary means for them.
Chairman of the Legion’s Lydney branch, Mr Ian Hendy, is pictured with the book which will be available at the RBL Poppy shop in Newerne Street until November 11 and then at St Mary’s Church.
Mr Hendy said he hoped it will provide a snapshot of how people feel about the war.
