TALENTED local young people are being invited to take part in a new performance event being organised by the Forest of Dean Youth Forum.

"Whether you are singers, bands, magicians, circus performers, poets, variety performers or acoustic musicians, we would like entries of all kinds for our performance event, 'Emerge'," says a spokesman.

"The event will take place at Lakers School on Sunday March 25. Rehearsal time will be held through the afternoon, and performances will begin at 7.30pm."

"Don't be shy – come and showcase your talent at Emerge!" said the spokesman.

The Forum is a group of young people who work to represent a voice for young people. It organises events bringing young people together from across the district.

For several years the Youth Forum has organised events such as trash fashion shows, youth conferences, youth gigs and art exhibitions.
