LYDNEY Paralympics hopeful Andy Lewis finished third during his latest test on his road to Rio 2016.

The Lydney triathlete missed taking silver by 14 seconds but says although he has lots more work to do it has put him in a good position for next September.

Andy, who was part of the Great Britain triathlon team, jetted to Rio for the test which gave him a taste of the venue.

He said: “I finished in third place, but I learnt some valuable lessons from this race and improved my processes to deal with things, but now I am hungry for a gold medal as we leave for Detroit in America.”
