AN opening partnership of 178 by Paul Ballinger and Martin Symonds put Ruardean Hill in a commanding position.
Mark Meakin found the stumps with Ballinger on 80 while Symonds was caught by Alastair Johnson off the bowling of Nick Powell for 87.
Kieran Lilley was the only other wicket to fall, stumped by Tom Adams off the bowling of Gavin Thurston.
When the home team finished their 40 overs Steve Cross was unbeaten on 47 and Richard Henson was on 11.
Roger Wakefield saw through the entire Alvington and Woolaston innings, ending the match on 33 not out.
The Lilleys did the most damage with the ball with Kieran claiming 4-19 and Ashley 3-16.
Lee Burford bowled just balls but claimed a wicket while Terry Burgham finished with 2-19.
It was an afternoon of accuracy with the ball with not a single wide or no ball given.
Ruardean picked up 22 points while the visitors received a single bowling point.
