Caldicot Athletic blew away Hartridge 54-0 to book their place in the semi-final of the Newport and District Cup.

A youthful Caldicot side ran in eight unanswered tries in a game that never looked in doubt after they opened the scoring just after the 20-minute mark.

Until then the match had been evenly balanced with the visitors dominating the scrums and forcing Athletic onto the back foot.
