Whitehouse Press North Gloucestershire League Division Four
Littledean 3-4 Rank Outsiders

RANK Outsiders Reserves got a much-needed boost with this win over the side who are one place above them in North Gloucestershire Division Four.
It was only the second win this season for the league’s bottom club which has struggled to find any consistency.
The blustery wind at Dean Magna School in Mitcheldean played a key part with Outsiders’ keeper Wayne Thomas getting onto the scoresheet when his free kick was carried into the opposition goal.
The sides went square at the break having scored two goals each and things were not looking good for Outsiders when they went a goal behind.
Club secretary, Richard Bennett said: “It was at that point that they realised they had to start shooting rather than trying to walk the ball into the goal and fortunately we got two more goals.
“Some of the more experienced players felt we played better in other games but come away with nothing.
“Hopefully this will give us a bit of momentum for the last four games of the season.”
Jake Taylor got two for Littledean and substitute Roger Wakefield completed the scoring while Outsiders’ sub Shaun Cripwell also found the net.
The other scorers were John Cleal – who plays alongside dad Andy – and Matthew Sandford.
