YOUNG boxers showed off their skills in an end-of-season show organised by Chepstow Amateur Boxing Club.
There were several good wins for boxers attached to the club and a couple of narrow defeats.
Head coach Terry Dymock said: "We always try and match suitable opponents and I thought they did well."
Among the winners was Chepstow Welsh international Rosie Eccles who won a unanimous decision against Menna George of Llantwit Major.
Clubs from across south Wales were represented at the show held at Chepstow Rugby Club.
The evening began with an exhibition bout between Evan Phipps of Chepstow and Josh Atiko of Cardiff club Splott Adventure.
There were also wins for Scott Dixon, Dylan Ostler and Jack Jenkins of Chepstow while both Keiron Woods and Greg Edwards were unlucky to see decisions go against them.
Also on the card was James Hobbs who lost on a unanimous points decision to the very good Salah Calem of Splott.
The club is based at the Drill Hall in Chepstow and will return in September.
