YORKLEY lead the KW Bell League after a two wicket victory over Cinderford St John's seconds.
It was a visiting batsman, Steve Roberts, who shone at the crease with 85 of his side's 154 runs before he was caught by Andrew Rowles off the bowling of Ed Stubbs.
Stubbs went onto claim another wicket but the bowler who did most damage was John Ellison.
Ellison picked up four wickets for 25 runs off 7.4 overs with Ben Homer and Liam Hurcombe picking up one each.
In reply Yorkley's top score was middle order batsman Tom Rudd who hit 33 while all-rounder Stubbs wasn't far behind on 28.
Keith Smith was the pick of the Cinderford bowlers picking up three wickets for 16 off eight overs.
