WIND turbines going round and round, I would argue that what the Forest really needs is a 'Policy on Energy' – both the conservation of and the creation of energy. Do we want turbines? Do we want renewables? Do we want a new nuclear power station at Oldbury?

The Green Party's position is clear – we want renewables, as they are safe and reliable and cost-effective. And they create thousands of jobs.
