I AM writing on behalf of the CANDI Project to convey our gratitude to the family of the late Frank?Beard for the generous donation received by our Young Peoples' Charity as one of the beneficiaries from donations given by the local community in memory of Frank.

Frank did so much for Cinderford and the Forest of Dean, especially championing the young people of the area.

He was one of our original trustees and over the past 17 years as a member of our management committee he has supported, helped and fought for the project and for young people's issues.

He will be greatly missed not only by his loving family but by people in the Forest of Dean.

A true Forester working for the Forest.
