ORGANIST Alice Wilmshurst of Whitecroft is collecting money for Haiti earthquake victims by playing an organ marathon at Lydney Baptist Church.

There will also be a small table sale and refreshments at the church, opposite the Tesco store, on March 20, when Alice will play hymns and other tunes on her organ from 10am to 4pm.

"Please come and join in the hymns, have a cup of tea, coffee or soup or just listen to some everyday tunes," says Alice.

She has already made a collection for stricken Haiti where she says the devastation is "really unimaginable".
