A BUS highlighting community transport will be travelling across the Forest.

The sessions, organised by Forest Routes, will be an opportunity to find out about community transport services such as Dial-a-Ride, raise transport concerns and to hear about volunteering opportunities.

The bus will be next to the Co-op in Newent on Monday (October 13), the Triangle, Cinderford on Monday, October 20, Coleford clock tower on Friday, October 24 and Tesco, Lydney on Wednesday, November 12.

The sessions run from 10.30am until 2.30pm.

Anna-Marie Daniels, Programme Coordinator said: "During these sessions we hope to dispel the myth that community transport is just for the elderly or disabled.

"We would like to get the message across to residents that community transport is available for anyone who does not have regular access to transport and that the service is out there and ready for residents to use in their everyday lives.

"We hope that residents will come along to find out about community transport, to discuss their transport issues and to find out about volunteering opportunities."
