Police are issuing a warning after anti-social behaviour on bike trails around Staple Edge near Cinderford.

In the past few weeks, large branches have been deliberately placed across the mountain bike trails, which could potentially cause serious injury to a cyclist.

One person was injured on Monday, August 22 as a result of the act, causing significant cuts and grazes to the cyclist.

Officers are stressing how dangerous this is and urge those members of the public who are carrying out what they may think is a harmless prank to stop their behaviour before somebody is seriously hurt.

Anyone who sees anti-social behaviour in the area should call police on 101, or 999 if a crime is in progress.
