WHAT a complete load of rubbish written under the heading 'Not safe in the woods.'

I am not originally from the Forest so I appreciate it, probably a lot more than someone who is.

Surely if you live in the country you should expect to see animals and trees and be thankful to live in such a beautiful area.

Animals certainly do not make a mess and ruin the area as humans do and they do not drop litter on the ground and leave rubbish everywhere they go, thereby endangering all creatures.

It is a fact that if the human race died out, animals and especially insects, would live on and thrive. But if the opposite happened then humans would not live very long.

Just appreciate where you live and leave animals alone, or if you cannot get along with wildlife go and live in a city!

Just a further note. I have been reading about Autumnwatch and the fact that they have been to the Forest area, apparently to film wild boar – if they could find any left after poaching and culling.

Maybe the person who wrote the letter could watch the programme and finally appreciate the area and animals!
