COLEFORD bodybuilder Austin Will­iams has successfully defended his Mr Harrogate title at a packed charity show.

The 32-year-old from Scowles attended the inaugural show in the north Yorkshire town and retained his title for the second year running.

Austin, who is manager of the Maximum Sports and Nutrition shop in Harrogate, won a competitive over 13 stone category then the overall 'Mr Harrogate' title with quality muscle and excellent condition.

Austin said: "I am really pleased with that I have kept my Mr Harrogate title for the second year running. I dedicate a lot of time to my training and working hard to perfect my look. We all had a great time and the turnout this year was fantastic which in turn meant that in total we raised £5000 for charity."

Austin who is well known locally as a second dan black belt tae kwon do ace has also won many awards and ran classes in Cinderford for many years before work commitments took over.

He added: "I'm hoping that next year will be a hat trick."
