AT just a year old Jack Griffiths of Lydney has already made his TV debut.
Mum Becky Griffiths says the little lad starred in the latest series of BBC One’s 18th century drama Poldark Season Two at the weekend.
Mrs Griffiths, who is a mum-of three, said: “Jack played Ross and Demelza’s newborn baby. Filming was last November at Castle Coombe when Jack was seven weeks-old. He has just celebrated his first birthday
“I had just given birth when a friend of mine passed on the details of the job. Her twins were with an agency and she knew they were looking for a baby boy. I applied and Jack was picked.
“I had no idea until the day of filming whose baby he was playing. It was a fantastic day. I didn’t mind him being used at such a young age especially when it’s Aidan Turner (who plays Ross Poldark) holding him. Unfortunately he won’t be used again as they have used older children so Jack is too small now.”
