CLLR Mike M Edwards, who is he? No, I've not heard of him either. Just another politician who sounds full of his own self-opinionated views, sanctimonious, self importance, spouting on with more political claptrap. So what's new?

Having a go at Dr Pearson, why? She dares to question councillors proposing allowances and expenses increases for themselves at a time when employees are being laid off, wages frozen, cutting community services, cutting funding that will affect the very poorest in the community. How dare she?

But it's in the public interest. What's that, I hear the council chamber say.

I have never had the privilege of meeting Dr Pearson, but I read with interest what she has to say. I so admire her ability to sit through hours of tedium in the council chamber and present an informed and accurate assessment that is clear and to the point. Without her we would never know, and you lot would be getting away with everything.

On the other hand what my friends and neighbours tell me of Dr Pearson, describes a good samaritan giving so much of her time and efforts to supporting good causes and charities that benefit the least able right across the Forest and beyond.

Back seat drivers two a penny? If only there were, you and your lot would be out of office and the Forest would have one of the best councils in the country instead of one of the worst.
