ALEX Evans and pals who perform as Forest band Years to Come have organised a fundraising rock night to back Soundspace Studios at Heywood School.
It is on October 29 at the Miner's Welfare Hall in Cinderford (7pm) and fans will hear Red Exit Girl, Amateur Drive By and headliners Medik in addition to Years to Come.
"All the bands are playing for free," said Alex's mum Jane, who is helping him to organise the event.
"My son will be 18 soon and rather than have a party decided he wanted to do a fund raising gig night for local charity SoundSpace Studios (run by Gloucester Music Makers) who are in need of funds due to cut-backs. SoundSpace is based in the old caretaker's bungalow at the Heywood School site.
"We really want to keep the place going as it provides a great outlet for youngsters with an interest in music."
Tickets are available on the door.
