BLAKENEY Reserves maintained an unbeaten home record while losing only three away games to win the North Gloucester League division three title.
The Reserves clinched the title with a 3-1 success over Mushet and Coalway. Though they lost their last game of the season – away to Worrall Hill – it did not dampen the celebrations.
Both Blakeney First Xl and the Reserves are looking to strengthen their teams for next season and build on the success of the Reserves.
Manager Andy James said: "I would like to give special thanks to Gareth Morgan, Anthony Cadogan, Gareth James, Lee Cadogan, Russell Robinson and Steve Robbins for their excellent support throughout the season. It was very much appreciated as these players are the future of the club."
The team will be short of two stalwart players next season as after many years' service to Blakeney Mark Baldwin and John Reeves are hanging up their boots.
