ROGER James is delighted that he will be coming back to the Forest area with his band Buster James to play at the Westbury Cider Festival on August 26 this year.

"I hail from Pillowell and Bream and used to play with bands from the Forest and Gloucester when I was a teenager before leaving the area for East Anglia," says Roger.

"Over the years I have toured this country and Europe playing, but this is the first time back in Gloucestershire. I am really looking forward to playing our music to the people where I grew up."

He says Buster James has become popular in the Eastern counties.

"We are appearing at a number of festivals in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex, I am also off to Qatar for a couple of gigs, but for me personally, coming back home is very exciting," he said.

The band line up is: Roger James (vocals); Mark Holmes (lead guitar); Rob Seales (lead guitar); and Chris Warnes (bass), with Paul Hale on drums.
