A MOTORIST who was having a flat tyre changed by the RAC on Bonfire Night had his car scraped with a blade and a spare trye thrown at the windscreen.

Police say a gang of six men approached the driver’s black Vauxhall Corsa around 7pm in Bank Street, Coleford, when the damage happened.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “It was reported that the victim had been receiving assistance from the RAC following a flat tyre when the six men approached his black Vauxhall Corsa.

“One of the men is reported to have tapped a small blade on the car before another picked up a spare tyre and threw it at the windscreen.

“The six men, who were described as being in dark clothing, left the area on foot.

“Anyone who witnessed this taking place or was in the area at the time is asked to call 101 quoting incident 381 of 5 November.”
