FIRST I would like to say sorry to the person I bumped coming out of Premier newsagents shop in Market Street, Cinderford on Friday (November 21).
Secondly, a huge thank you to the lady with the light blue coat for giving me my money.
I had just been to the cashpoint at HSBC. I took my card and got back into my son's car.
We started to drive down Market Street when we got to the old benefit office and I realised I hadn't taken my money from the machine.
I ran all the way back to the machine while my son turned round. As I got there a lady was just coming from the cashpoint.
As she saw me she came straight up to me and gave me my money and said she was about to take it into the bank.
I am sorry but as I was in a state of shock at what happened I didn't thank you properly.
It was a large sum of money and I realise how lucky I was that it was someone like you who found it so please accept my great thanks to you for looking after it and being so honest.
– Grateful, Cinderford.
