YOUNG members of the Chaos Music and Drama Societys brought the magic of Disney to the stage in Chepstow.

The production of Beauty and the Beast was the second of three shows being performed by the Chepstow-based society this year.

Society chair, Keith Wright said: “This show was performed by the junior members of the society and shows what strength we have as a group.

“Young stars such as Rhianna Thomas as Belle, Carl Fielding as the Beast and Ethan Cook as Gaston, have brought this Disney tale to life with the support and hard work of a wonderful cast, crew and the fantastic imagination of director Amanda Counsell, without who this production would not have been so magical.”

Rehearsals for the next show start on Friday, June 3 at the Bulwark Community Centre.

It is a comedy-drama called Dick Denver and the Den of Deadly Dames and has been penned by the society’s own Jon Stow.

It will be performed by senior members of the society at the Drill Hall in Lower Church Street, Chepstow between Thursday, September 8 and Saturday, September 10.
