WOULD like to express my disappointment at the fall-off in supporters attending Lydney RFC's home matches in recent weeks.
In past seasons half the town was turning out to watch the team as they enjoyed a great deal of success playing at a high level of rugby for such a small community.
Their form has not been so good this season so surely now is the time everyone should really be getting behind them?
Instead of staying at home or standing on the touchline and complaining get behind the boys and give them all the support you can.
A big push and the team could still be playing National League rugby next season. It is important to the town and district as the club takes the name of Lydney and the Forest all over England.
