PUPILS at Coalway Primary School met two sports stars as part of its sports week.

Commonwealth judo squad member Tom Davis and former Welsh rugby international Ian Gough visited the school to talk about their experience and take part in activities.

Tom, who works for the Youth Sport Trust, ran workshops in school as well as an after-school session for 20 children.

Tom said: "The children have been very enthusiastic. It's important that they get opportunities to participate in sport."
