HUNDREDS of happy snappers put the weekend’s heavy snowfall in focus by capturing the moment on cameras and mobile phones.
Wyedean showed the white stuff by wrapping up warm and getting outside to shoot fun activities and fairytale forestland.
Ava Standen built a giant snowman with the help of dad Gary in Staunton, complete with hat, scarf and buttons, before posing in front of her frozen friend with a copy of the Review.
And it was a case of ‘freeze frame’ for Coleford lads Callum Jones, Cameron Mills and Luke Harris whose day off school was captured by Review photographer Steve Cassidy at Scarr Bandstand.
Ready, steady, throw was the order of the day for Rosie and Max Baldwin who were snapped chucking snowballs in Yorkley, while it was soft focus – and hopefully a soft landing – for snowy trampoliners Aston Jeffs and Jake Powell in Pillowell.
Others, such as Adie Cooke of Lydney, zoomed in on the winter wonderland of the Forest’s snow-covered trees.
But it wasn’t all fun – just ask the motorist whose car Steve snapped beneath a fallen tree.
