WHAT an excellent Christmas event organised by Coleford Town Council.     The parade through town by the children and their lanterns was a fantastic sight.   Coalway School choir performed brilliantly and the evening was attended by hundreds of people.    

Coleford Town Council is to be commended for its efforts in putting on yet another great community event.

It, like West Dean Parish Council, understands that it is there for the community and not the other way around.

Perhaps the Forest of Dean District Council could take a leaf out of their book?
