AN advocate to ensure a voice for disabled people has been appointed by Monmouthshire County Council. 

Crucorney councillor Andrew James has been appointed to the role of Member Disability Champion and he will support and raise awareness of disability issues across the county as well as undertake positive action to address the under-representation of disabled people in the county.
