FOUR local bands will be showcased at a 14 plus gig on Wednesday (April 18) at Magnum's Coleford.

It is 18 months since the last 14 plus live music night was held at the venue.

The English Immigrants are headlining and community interest company Music Industry Services will be helping them launch a range of merchandise.

Spokesman Nick Penny said: "One of the aims of the company is to showcase young musicians and to help them in areas of marketing and promotion.

"We started working with the English Immigrants back in January when we sponsored a photo shoot on Steve Matthews' professional tour bus and have since watched the band go from strength to strength."

The Peppermint Hunting Lodge, Twist the Knife and Rough Diamond will be completing the line-up.

Doors open at 7pm and the event finishes at 11pm. All profits go into work with young musicians.
