I was interested to see your editorial asking for readers to point out benefits of belonging to the EU. I suspect you will have a lean postbag on this though because apart from costing us £40 million per day to belong and flooding our country with Europeans who pinch our jobs, I cannot think of any impact the EU makes on our lives.

Oh, and it makes up loads of petty rules that cost us all billions every year. Does that count? Maybe then we should all vote against the EU on June 4 (I think the only anti-E party in the Forest is UKIP) and then us Brits can spend that £40 million per day here on a few new hospitals and reducing taxes. – Dan Winter (via email).
