I am again appalled at yet another cut to public transport – the Lydney to Chepstow bus on the way out?

How can we be encouraged to use it if it does not exist?

I use this service to get to Lydney hospital. Does this mean not enough people using the hospital because they cannot get there means this will be the next cut and where does it stop?

Dial-a-Ride does not come to Sedbury and does that apply to the other villages between Chepstow and Lydney?

As far as public transport is concerned here in Sedbury we can only go to Chepstow and only between the hours of 8.38 and 18.00 hours with no buses on a Sunday.

I had to cancel one hospital appointment because I could not get there for 9.10am.

Is this not living in the dark ages?

Come on local council provide us with  decent public transport and will someone answer my questions? I doubt it.

What's the next step. Talk to the hospital via my lap-top so I never have to leave the house? Perish the thought. – Sue Hilliard, Bridget Drive, Sedbury.
