THERE were summer showers in the air as Bream School's annual fair was about to start but there was still no shortage of fun to be had.

Attractions including a display by the school dance club and the barbecue went ahead outside as planned. The event, organised by the Friends of Bream School, was an opportunity for pupils to showcase their talents with performances from the school choir, ocarina group and drama group.

The Friends had collected a range of goodies for the auction of promises including a day at the races, a visit to the cider museum at Much Marcle and Forest attractions including Perrygrove Railway and Clearwell Caves.
