CHEPSTOW Methodist Church held its annual flower festival last week with the life and ministry of Jesus as the theme.
The festival, entitled In the Footsteps of the Master, featured work by flower arrangers associated with the church and members of the Boys' Brigade and the Messy Church.
There were 18 displays representing well-known events in the life of Jesus as well as miracles and parables.
The Boys' Brigade made a display on the miracle of the five loaves and two fishes while the Messy Church planted wellies with colourful flowers.
Margaret Harvey, one of the organisers of the festival, said: "The displays illustrate the life and ministry of Jesus.
"The donations from visitors will go to the Alzheimer's Society and Save the Children's campaign for children in Syria."
