The article on the Ross Flower Show just proves that you can't believe what you read in the paper (August 16).  There was no mention of the main trophy winner, a lady who has participated in the show  for several years who also continued her winning streak.

I couldn't understand why she and some others had been excluded and then I realised that the article was reporting just the show members' successes. 

The writer says that 'a good crowd of exhibitors went to the show'.Yes they did, and I believe they should have been acknowledged too as without the support of the non-members, the Ross show would struggle to continue.

May I congratulate  the non-members who won trophies and hope they don't feel snubbed and ask them to please  participate again  next year.
