‘A CHANCE for families to get creative together’ is how a local crafts centre is describing its half-term programme.
Taurus Crafts, run by charity and not-for-profit organisation Camphill Village Trust, is offering nine days of activities from Saturday, May 25 until Sunday, June 2.
Spokesperson, Tom Haverly said: “Our programme is bursting with creativity for families to enjoy this half-term holiday.
“With many families looking for something to do during the school holidays this provides an excellent choice of creative drop-in workshops including slime-making, create your own dragon or fairy wings, reptile handling, chocolate painting, magic and puppet shows, crown and wand-making, fossil hunting, rock painting with FodRocks, make and take, face painting, rain-stick making and paint your own pot
“Families can get creative and ‘make together’ with all the materials, tools and experts on hand to take the stress out of keeping the kids busy.”
Taurus Crafts is open from 10am to 5pm daily.
Located near Lydney on the A48, the craft centre is home to local crafts, a café, gifts, events, markets and art exhibitions and provides visitors a chance to meet the makers in their craft units and shop for distinctive gifts from the artisan businesses on site.
Taurus Crafts is part of the Camphill Village Trust, which is a national charity and not-for-profit organisation with over 55 years of experience, knowledge and passion in supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs.
The half-term activity sessions are all published on Taurus Crafts website.
