AN event which should help riders to build a relationship with their horses is being held in Lydney next month.

"It will help you to understand a horse's personality and how it is trying to 'talk' to you, says the organiser, psychotherapist Miranda Carey.

Working with different horses while loose in the outdoor arena, with some jumping and rope work, her demonstration will also show how stance, breathing and energy projected when giving signals to horses needs to differ depending on their character and how they feel at any given moment.

Titled 'How To Have Fun With Your Horse', the event is being run by Miranda as a spin-off to her Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) practice. EFP is a way of teaching people about themselves through interpreting the reactions of horses (for more details, see http://www.ehwaz.co.uk">www.ehwaz.co.uk )
