Party away the last hours of 2018 at Lydney Town Hall, and look forward to all that 2019 promises with great food and entertainment with the Todd Miller and The Joe Loss orchestra - they are one of the UK’s most versatile and successful dance and party orchestras. The popular band plays a wide variety of music right up to present chart toppers with something for everyone. There will also be a tasty hog roast to tickle the tastebuds.
Joe Loss was the undisputed doyen of big bandleaders, and his name was synonymous with the very best in dance band music. When he married his sweetheart Mildred Blanch Rose, the crowd scenes in central London were akin to Beatlemania of the 1960’s. When Joe became too ill to travel he entrusted the leadership to Todd Miller, who has led the Orchestra through to the present day. Now having been with the Orchestra for 38 years, Todd’s career has included 14 world tours on the QE2, two royal weddings, many royal command performances and Christmas parties for the royal family. The popular group performs a wide variety of music right up to the present day’s chart toppers to get you in the party spirit, and is wonderful for those who love dancing and live music!
The party at Lydney Town Hall starts from 7pm until late, and is sure to be very popular so make sure you get your tickets soon!
The historic town hall dates back to 1888, and is much used by the local community. It offers a large stage with dressing rooms and lighting facilities, and is an ideal venue for theatrical productions, wedding receptions and private parties, as well as public exhibitions. Visit www.lydneytownhall.org to find out more about their upcoming events and to book tickets.
