THE lads are coming home! 1 Rifles battlegroup is returning to Beachley from dust and danger in Afghanistan next Tuesday (November 1), coaching in for an emotional reunion with family and friends, says an Army spokesman.

Following, on November 17, there will be a civic ceremony where they will be granted the Freedom of Chepstow for the first time. At the same ceremony they will be awarded their Operational Service medals for the campaign.
