A 17-year-old man has been seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Caldicot.

Gwent Police are trying to trace the driver of a red Vauxhall Corsa in relation to the incident on Church Road last night (Thursday).

The man was walking along Church Road at about 6.30pm when the collision occurred.

He was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Police say the Vauxhall Corsa they are trying to trace may have damage to its windows and may be missing the driver’s side mirror.
