HANOVER Housing Association in Cinderford has won Best 50-plus Housing Provider category at this year’s 50-plus awards.

The estate in Valley Road faced tough competition and received internet nominations and votes from people aged 50 and over. It aims to find the best organisations and companies providing services for active people who want to get the most out of life.

Robert McCaffrey, director of The 50-plus Show, said: “This year saw ferocious competition even to be shortlisted, with results based on ratings, rather than the total number of votes cast.

“Congratulations to Hanover.”
