GLOUCESTERSHIRE County Council transport team have to find savings of £2m on expenditure for bus routes across the county.

They are holding public consultation meetings in most areas from May 19, both daytime and eve­nings, to hear views.

This consultation ends June 27. Around 170 bus routes that are being looked at, many including Forest bus routes  23 and 30/31 24 etc.

These are vital transport links to jobs, hospitals and education.

We do not want our bus routes to be stolen – our bus stop was nicked from Newnham High Street a few weeks ago – so anything is possible!
