LYDBROOK resident Marcia Gallagher has been appointed non-executive director of 2gether, a specialist NHS Foundation Trust providing social and mental health care services in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

Marcia retired from NHS England in January after 40 years service with the NHS and experience both as a qualified accountant and the holder of a number of senior functioning roles in the NHS.

She says: “This is an area that I am passionate about and one that I have been involved with throughout my career. As chair of the audit committee, I feel that I can make a difference and, in the words of the Trust, I want to make life better.”
