A TEA party was the perfect way for Mandy Salter to celebrate 25 years working at a Chepstow residential home.
Staff at Bethany Home surprised Ms Salter with a homemade cake and flowers in the home’s lounge in the presence of residents.
Ms Salter has done many different roles within the home over the years including cleaning, caring, cooking, bathing and laundry.
Owner of Bethany Home, Royston Phelps said: “Even after having children she was straight back to work as soon as possible to make sure all the elderly ladies and gentlemen were alright.
“Mandy has seen many changes within care over the years and has always got stuck in with great passion and enthusiasm.
“Without people like Mandy we couldn’t run the home.”
